   Good Wood Signs are "weathered" by a local artist to create a worn, rustic look. 
These signs aren't mass produced from a factory...each sign is individually hand-crafted with your name or phrase.  No molds or templates chunking out identical pieces of wood, no computers etching  glossy lettering that's fit for an interstate sign.  Good Wood signs are one-of-a-kind.

 Each piece of wood is hand-selected by the artist. 
Not from a lumberyard, but from wood hand-cut by  Mennonite carpenters. The artist picks pieces of wood with coloring and markings that will make the wood look more rustic.  The more knicks and small holes, the better.  He then "weathers" the wood with an aging process that includes cutting, sanding and burning. He finishes each sign by hand-painting and "weathering" the letters.    

The result is a sign that fits, one that looks like it's been there.  

You're the only one that will know that it hasn't  been around for 100 years.
